June 1990 - Sept.: Training in Irbid Central wastewater Treatment Facility Irbid –Jordan.

Jan.1992-May 1992 : Working in Environmental Project in J.R.S.S, Amman.

Jun.1992 - Decem.1998: Working in Jordan Petroleum Refinery / Lubrication Oil Plant Zarqa - Jordan.

Responsibilities & duties

Planning and Research Engineer; responsible for preparing daily production schedule for all types of lube. Oils and production lines.
Preparing daily production reports (quantity &quality), Maintenance, Levels of inventory.
Improving the quality of products and raw water as well as reduction pollution.
Assuring that the incoming raw materials are within specifications.
Participation in setting lube.oil specifications and selection of new materials to improve quality of finished product as well as reducing cost.
Studying local & international contracts (Tenders) as they are related to specifications and costs for raw materials, analytical instruments and production machines.
Management of chemical handling, storing and disposal.
Quality Monitoring for all types of water; Ground water, Treated water, Industrial water and waste water.

Working in Ministry of Water & Irrigation & Zai Water Purification Plant Balqa –Jordan as labs. And quality section head

Responsibilities & duties


Site monitoring for all monitoring points and early warning stations along the surface water canal feeding Zai plant
Evaluation for the variable changes in the surface water quality through daily results, predicting the effect of each and recommending the appropriate chemical doses for treatment stages.
Preparing daily and monthly reports.
Preparing quality-monitoring programs based on WHO guide lines and Jordanian specifications taking ioto account types and frequency of analysis.
Setting and issuing the standard specifications for the chemical additives being used in different purification stages; (Coagulants, polyelectrolyte, disinfectants, activated carbon, .etc)
Upgrading the labs. Instrumentation’s, by working closely with USID teams.
Studying local & international contracts (Tenders) as they are related to specifications and costs for chemical additives, and labs analytical instruments.
Following up treatment stages and chemical doses with operational section.

Responsibilities & duties

Preparing comprehensive monitoring programs based on Jordanian specifications for all water sources (Ground Water), pumping stations, public reservoirs, and net works.
Data (History) documentations for all sources which are categorized according to their quality.
Following up all variable changes and external pollutants that are affecting the quality and participating in several committees to remove / reduce these problems.
Preparing quality failure reports regarding the sources that are violating from standards.
Preparing monthly reports in English
Sanitary inspections and survey for each polluted location or /and locations showing quality changes and reporting the findings attached with. Results to the concerned directorate for correction measures.
Following up the consumer’s complaints regarding water quality pumped into their taps through quality team.
Following up the residual chlorine at the sources, pumping stations, and distribution systems through quality team.
Sharing the Germany GTZ/OMS team as a major counter part in mapping all the monitoring points from sources up to consumer meter using GIS system.
Sharing IT team and the Germany GTZ/OMS team in establishing laboratories data information system
Introducing site analysis required for urgent cases on site; (S”, NH4, Turbidity, pH, EC, RCL2 tests).
Preparing technical standards for chemicals ( anti scalant & acids ) and spare parts for TFC Reverse Osmoses units and Studying local contracts (Tenders) as they are related to specifications and costs for chemical additives, starting on 2004
Following up the performance of R.O units, Nitrate removal units and micro filtration units regarding quality, chemicals stock and ordering levels of( chemicals ,spare parts and consumables), performance and maintenance in corporations with contractors , Desalination directorate .
