Instrument technician: Libya – Desert based. May 1998 - June 1999
Contracted to REPSOL Oil Company, primarily as Instrument Technician to maintain and operate an Early Production Facility producing 50.000 barrels of oil per day during the construction of the Gosp “B” facility. Duties included the maintenance and operations of EPF equipment (incl. Three Phases Separators, Degassers, Coalesces, Pumps, Power Generators, Air Compressors, Alarm/Shut Down systems).
Senior Production Technician: GOSP “B” June 1999- Aug.2001
I was later transferred to the newly constructed Gosp “B” facility upon completion, to perform the commissioning, start-up and operations. Duties included all aspects of plant operation, training of local trainee employees, generating requests for maintenance and liaison with maintenance personnel, assisting and standing in for the shift Supervisor as required.
Senior Production Technician: Aug.2001 - Sept 2006.
Transferred to GOSP ‘A' facility producing 200,000 barrels per day. Main duties include local operation of the GOSP, sampling, Pigging (Launching and Receiving), operation of Nuevo Pignone gas compressors, Well testing, operation of an Alfa Laval Centrifuge for treatment of crude oil prior to use as fuel in ABB GT35 turbine generators, operation of a utilities section comprising of air compression, nitrogen generation, fire water systems and potable water storage. Duties also include training of local trainee employees, generating requests for maintenance and liaison with maintenance personnel, assisting and standing in for the shift Supervisor as required.
Shift Process Supervisor: Sept. 2006 - Present
I was promoted to Shift Supervisor on the above plant. Duties included, overseeing the operation and maintenance of the primary GOSP facility, managing a shift team of expatriate and national employees to ensure production targets are achieved, and ensuring that all employees work to a high safety standard. Maintain and update manpower and training schedules for national employees, producing accurate daily and monthly production reports and well-test reports, and fiscal metering.

D.S.T. Engineer and Data analyst: 1982 - 1998
Experience gained as DST Engineer and data analyst while working as a coordinator on various operations onshore and offshore (well bore and casings ID 5 1/2-12 ¾ in), deep wells (max. 21000 ft), with MFE Tools (3 ¾ and 5 in), in casing and open hole within Romanian and Bulgarien Oil Fields.
Extensive experience regarding operations with three phase separators (Involved as an advisor of construction and test of first manufactured Romanian Test Separator at 1440 psi max. working pressure)
Further experience gained in operations with POSI TEST and BOB TAIL Packers (Casing cementing, Fracturing, ESP anchors, Sand control, fishing for Drilling, and using Hydraulic Jars).
I was also Seconded to GOFSCo in Libya, to perform DST operations and Data Analyst (Horner plot method) in NC-115 (1990-1993) and Well Test (1996-1997).
Duties also included Well Test operations, and as a Data Analyst assistant for ICPPG Cimpina reservoir engineering team (Romanian research team).

Contracted as an Engineer to work in the Casing, Cementing, Fluid Fracturing and Sand Control department within Romanian Oil Fields, Onshore and Offshore.
