Our Brisbane-based client is a global leader in oil and gas processing and we are looking for an accomplished Site Planner, to join our highly skilled team to assist in project delivery. Combining your extensive planning experience, preferably in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, with a strong engineering background, you’ll plan a range of activities including schedule development, recording, forecasting and overall project control systems.
Reporting to the Site Project Controls Superintendent, you’ll ensure all activities are performed safely and in compliance with Uhde Shedden HSE policies, statutory requirements and HSE plans. You’ll prepare progress reporting procedures and maintain the project construction schedule, to be used as a basis for further progress control tools. With a keen eye for detail and unmatched ability to thrive under pressure, you’ll forecast changes to key schedule dates based on input analysis taken from engineering, procurement and construction (contractor) schedules and progress reports. Weekly reporting to management on any changes to forecast construction schedule completion date(s) and key intermediate dates, is key.
You’ll review summary schedules and manning histograms prepared by contractors, while maintaining man-hour records, work breakdown structure and assessing productivity factors.
