Our client is a leader in the Rail industry, with offices in 26 countries. They are currently searching for software engineers with rail / signalling experience to join their team in Western Australia.
In this role you will be responsible for gathering requirements and translating them into detailed design documents using commercial tools such as Rational Rose and Enterprise Architect. As your work will contribute to the end product, you will need be a team player and possess excellent communication skills.
To be successful in the role you will need:
Proven software engineering experience with exposure to the software development and testing lifecycle
Strong C# / C++ development skills (.Net platform)
Knowledge and/or experience of embedded systems and real-time systems
Knowledge and understanding of UML and OO design
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering / Computer Science
Western Australian Driver's licence and willingness to travel
