With a Head Office located in Brisbane, our client is a leading Australian owned Swimming Pool Equipment Manufacturer with branches in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Nth Qld and New Zealand.and Brisbane.
We are currently seeking a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer to head up a young team of 4 engineers.
The person we are seeking has a minimum of 5 years working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer or a minimum of 3 years in an Engineering Manager's role.
You will nedd to have expeirence in or display the following characterisitics:
* Demonstrated leadership and management skills
* Hands on approach to engineering solutions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated project management skills
* Experienced in QA procedures and techniques
* Proven ability to work within budgets and timeframes
* Proficient in Pro E and CAD software applications
* Thorough knowledge of testing and validation techniques
* Ability to liaise with production and sales people at all levels
* Ability to motivate and mentor a young engineering team
