Based in Sutherland, this large infrastucture organization is seeking the talents of an experienced Project Manager to join their Major Projects Division.
As the Project Manager, you would be responsible for managing projects aimed at enchancing the safety of passengers and staff in the Sydney Metropolitan Area. You would also be responsible for liasing with all stakeholders and ensuring that appropriate project controls and approvals are in place.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering preferably in Electrical or Civil
- Experience working the construction industry, preferably rail environment
- Exposure to railway and infrastructure construction projects
- Experience in the scoping and integration of large technically complex multi-disciplinary projects
- Good communication and negotiation skills & experience with multiple external/interal stake holders
- Experience in major procurement
- Sound knowledge of safety regulations (OH&S Regulation 2001)
Knowledge of and experience in Fire and Life Safety issues in an underground transportation environment and technical knowledge of LV Lighting and/or Communication Systemes (telephony) projects are highly desirable.
