Working within the Quality & Engineering department you will be responsible for: - All Technical aspects of manufactured products including BOM (Bill of Materials), drawing maintenance, Manufacturing Process instructions etc.
- Managing, Approve or Overseeing product customisations, product or part validation & customer complaints analysis relating to product failures.
- Lead projects on product evolution.
- Develop new features to increase market share and cost reduction.
- Improve manufacturability in order to improve the company's reputation in the field.
- Provide engineering input into various Continuous Improvement projects using Lean, 6 Sigma tools.
Skills & Experience Required: - Approximately 4 years engineering experience in a production environment.
- 3D Modeling package - ProE - Wildfire preferred.
- Designing for assembly on medium or high volume production lines.
- A background in the medium voltage power industry and/or mechanism design is desirable but not essential.
- 6 Sigma experience would be highly desirable but not essential as training would be provided.
