We at WYN Recruitment have a brand new opportunity up for grabs for a Senior Environmental Advisor to work on one of the worlds large WA based EPCM projects located in Jimblebar in the Pilbara region. The project has now been running for more than half a decade and is showing no signs of slowing down as it enters a new phase of construction and development worth over 2 billion dollars.

The Senior Environmental Advisor administers and supervises the environmental management plan on the project site along with an ongoing functional relationship to the Environmental Manager.

Duties will also include:

Implementation of all aspects of the Environmental Management Plan including audits, inspections of the contractors areas and hazard card reports.

Assist all Project personnel to ensure contract and project objectives are achieved or exceeded.

Inspect the work under each contract daily and advise the contractor of any corrective actions as they occur.

Assist in ensuring site entry requirements for plant, equipment and people are complied with.

Liaise with the contractor’s representatives on all requirements of the Environmental Management Plan.

Maintain documentation relating to work on the contracts.

Provide accurate and timely reports to the Construction Manager as requested

Supervise, direct and coach all project staff of their respective roles in complying with

Environmental Management Plan

Actively participate in and support Incident and Injury Free culture

You must also have a minimum background of:

8 years minimum environmental experience.

5 years minimum experience working on major EPCM projects.

Be able to liaise with clients on all levels.

Experience working in harsh and remote environments.
