This is an opportunity for professional and suitably qualified Senior and Principal Signal Design Engineers to join this well known international company involved in rail signalling. The company has a strong focus on career advancement and providing innovative new designs for their customers. They currently have vacancies in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane for the following positions: You will be responsible for the preparation of formal designs and submissions in response to projects for key customers. You will review schematic plans, interlocking and control circuit designs, oversee the production of vital railway signalling equipment and systems. You will also take charge of a small team of technical specialists on a temporary basis for specific projects. To be successful in these roles you need to be tertiary qualified in an electrical or electronic engineering discipline and have 5-10 years signalling design experience in the rail industry, and an extensive background in working on complex rail infrastructure projects. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven background in leading small multi-disciplinary teams. Experience in using Microstation and AutoCAD would be preferred. IRSE membership and License Holders will be highly regarded. Overseas candidates are also encouraged to apply. This client will provide sponsorship to suitable candidates.
